Committee Meetings:
Committee Meetings may be held from 5:00-5:30 pm prior to the regular meetings.

The Center is at the very end of Sale Lane within the Mendocino National Forest’s Red Bluff Recreation Area or at 527-1196..
This Month we are not having a meeting on September 23rd as we usually do because we will be acting as building guards for the Tehama District Fair starting on Thursday through Sunday. As you ask about building guards?? about 35 of us take turns being at the Fair Grounds to answer questions, direct people and clean up messes! If you come any time the fairground is open look for people wearing Soroptimist name badges and shirts. Most will be in the vicinity of the door in each building. Once you find one of us they will lead you to others.
A question for you– are you a quilter? We have a number of quilters in the club and you will find our fundraising quilt in the cafeteria and there will be quilters from Sun Country Quilters in the Home Arts Building.
As I read this reply I am thinking – she will think I am encouraging you to come to the Fair and you would be correct! If you are new to the area it is a way to learn a little about this area and how friendly the people are in Tehama County.
